Remaining connected to Jesus through prayer and His word. As we stay connected to the Vine, we will look more like Jesus.

Intentionality
Choosing to seek God daily in the midst of the chaos in the world while also being mindful of how we spend our time with Jesus.

Growth
Embracing every season of life and allowing the Lord to prune what doesn’t look like Him.

Grace
Extending grace to ourselves is essential on this walk. Growth is a journey, and we may not always get it right, but we can refocus and keep our eyes on the main thing, which is God.

Faithfulness
Trusting in the Lord and remaining rooted in Him through every season, whether it’s easy or difficult.

Authentic Community
Creating a space where can have honest conversations, count are struggles as joy, and encourage one another as we grow closer in our relationship with Jesus.

My walk with the Lord has been marked by different seasons of growth, pruning, sanctification, refinement, alignment, and learning what it truly means to be rooted in the Lord. I’ve always had a relationship with the Lord, but as I go through tough situations, I’m able to see more of His love and faithfulness.

I’m learning that following Jesus isn’t about getting everything right or hurrying to get out of a difficult season. The Lord cares more about my heart posture and developing a genuine relationship with me than me just getting to a certain destination. As I continue to walk with the Lord, he has shown me how my walk with Him is like a dance. There is so much beauty in this walk with the Lord. We just have to continue to take it step by step.

Planted & Rooted was created as a space to share what I am learning, encourage others in their walk with Christ, and remind people that no matter the season they are in, God is faithful to sustain, grow, sanctify, and strengthen those who remain rooted in Him.

At Planted & Rooted, we believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for our faith and the standard by which we seek to live.

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will one day return in glory.

We believe that every person is created in the image of God but that sin separates us from Him. Salvation is found only through the grace of God by faith in Jesus Christ. It is a free gift that cannot be earned through works.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, empowering us to grow in Christ, produce spiritual fruit, understand God's Word, and live lives that honor Him.

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers who have placed their faith in Jesus. We are called to worship God, love one another, make disciples, serve others, and share the Gospel with the world.

We believe that Jesus Christ will return, and that those who have trusted in Him will spend eternity in His presence.

Our desire at Planted & Rooted is to encourage people to know Jesus, remain rooted in His Word, grow in spiritual maturity, and live lives that glorify God in every season.
